Welcome to Men of Christ Madison, an organization of Catholic men founded in 2019 with the goal of leading every man to a relationship with Jesus Christ; equipping him with the competence and confidence to not only become a better Catholic man, to become a disciple.

2023 Conference Speakers
Fr. John Riccardo, missionary and ACTS XXIX Executive Director. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit in 1996. In 2019, after 23 years in parish ministry, he founded Acts XXIX to proclaim the gospel in an attractive and compelling way and to equip clergy and lay leaders for the age in which God has chosen us to live. Fr. John is a graduate of the University of Michigan, the Gregorian University, and the Pope John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family.
Father Donald Haggerty, a priest of the Archdiocese of New York, serves at Saint Patrick's Cathedral. He taught moral theology and worked as a spiritual director in seminaries for twenty years. He has directed numerous yearly retreats for the Missionaries of Charity. He is the author of Contemplative Provocations, The Contemplative Hunger, Conversion, and Contemplative Enigmas.
Fr. Craig Vasek directs retreats for the Missionaries of Charity and, for four years, served as Chaplain for the Athletic Department of the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND. His deep, spiritual background can help guide souls into a deeper conversion, a transformation rooted in prayer and in the Eucharist.
Helen Alvare is Professor of Law and of the Robert A. Levey Endowed Chair in Law and Liberty at Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University. She received her B.S. in economics summa cum laude from Villanova University, her law degree from Cornell University School of Law, and her master’s degree in Systematic Theology from the Catholic University of America.
